About us

Welcome to the Quality Strategy Network (QSN), a membership organisation for individuals with responsibility for quality strategy and management within UK higher education.

Our constitution 

QSN is a membership organisation for individuals who are responsible for the management of quality and academic standards within UK higher education.  Led by the QSN Executive, the QSN’s primary mission is to provide a forum where members can engage in insightful discussions about key issues related to quality management and enhancement. It brings together members from over 60 higher education providers across the UK through our Annual Conference and a range of webinars and symposia, fostering a vibrant community where specific topics of interest can be explored in depth.  

Our purpose 

  • To engage proactively with key issues of quality assurance, enhancement and management
  • To provide a forum where members can share good practice
  • To provide a mechanism through which institutions can discuss their collective responses to various consultations, sector issues and anticipated challenges, and/or inform individual institution responses
  • To provide co-ordinated leadership for its practitioner members in interacting with relevant national bodies 

Our Activities

Collaborative Exchange

Engage in meaningful conversations with peers who understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the UK higher education landscape. Share insights, experiences, and best practices that contribute to the continuous improvement of quality management. Members receive subscription to the QSN Membership Discussion Forum for up to two representatives.

Annual Conference

Attend our flagship event, the QSN Annual Conference, where renowned experts and thought leaders gather to discuss cutting-edge strategies, innovative approaches, and emerging trends in quality management and enhancement. Gain valuable knowledge and build connections with industry influencers. 

Webinars and Symposia

Participate in our regular webinars and symposia, which focus on specific topics of interest to the higher education community. Delve into issues such as curriculum design, assessment methods, quality assurance frameworks, and student engagement, among others. Expand your knowledge and stay up to date with the latest developments. 

Networking and Collaboration

Connect with fellow members and establish valuable professional relationships through our networking events. Share resources and exchange ideas to drive positive change and enhance the quality of higher education. Liaise with relevant national bodies and constitute to sector consultations through QSN coordinated activities. Membership provides the opportunity to share best practice, deliver workshops, and contribute to sector consultations.
